There’s a lot of information out there about how to get help with your visa application.
And you want to be sure you’re getting the best visa service for you.
Which isn’t always easy to do when visa services businesses post very different levels of detail on their websites.
So wouldn’t it be great if you could compare visa services side-by-side to see exactly what you get?
Well the good news is you can use Help with my visa! to search and compare visa services from our vetted immigration advisers so that you’re sure you’re getting the best visa service in 3 easy steps.
Here’s how.
STEP 1: Find the type of visa service you want
The first step to find your best visa service is to find the type(s) of visa service that are right for you.
You can do this on Help with my visa! in 3 ways.
METHOD 1: Use the Help with my visa! Signposting Tool
Firstly, you can use the Help with my visa! Signposting Tool.

The Signposting Tool takes you through a series of questions to determine the best visa services for your circumstances.
It’s the easiest way to find the best visa services for you.
Just hit ‘GET STARTED’ below to begin.
METHOD 2: Use the Help with my visa! Search Tool
Secondly, you can use the search tool to quickly find the type of visa service you want.
Click on the ‘+ SEARCH FOR VISAS’ link in the top menu on any page and you’ll be taken to the visa category page. From here you can use the search tool that appears at the top right-hand corner of the page.

On mobile it’s even easier, as you can access the search tool directly from the top menu by clicking on the ‘looking glass’ icon from any page.

Enter your search terms and we’ll return a list of matching results.
You can now review the search results returned, or search again using different search terms.
METHOD 3: Use Filters to Drill-down
And thirdly, you can use filters to drill-down and find the best visa service for you.
Click on the ‘+ SEARCH FOR VISAS’ link in the top menu or the white ‘+’ in the red box on mobile and you’ll be taken to the visa categories page where you can select your destination country.

Now you can filter on 5 additional criteria:

Visa or service type: select the visa or service type that best fits your need, for example, click ‘Family in the UK’ to see all UK spouse and partner-related visa services.
Country of application: we have immigration professionals based in a number of different countries that can help you. If you’d like to appoint a professional in your home country, you can click on that country to filter, otherwise select ‘Other Country’ to see a list of immigration professionals who offer virtual appointments to visa applicants overseas.
City of application: you can also further refine where your immigration professional is based by filtering to show those based in a certain city. As with Country of Application, if your city isn’t listed you can select ‘Another City’ to see which immigration professionals offer virtual appointments.
Type of Appointment: the immigration professionals we work with offer three types of appointment: face-to-face, telephone and video conference. Even if your chosen immigration professional is based in the same city as you, you may wish to use a virtual appointment (that is, either a telephone or video conference appointment) as opposed to visiting face-to-face if it’s more convenient.
Appointment Language: many immigration professionals offer multilingual services. If you prefer to receive your immigration advice service in a certain language, you can filter by language to see what’s available. We add new languages to this filter when we start working with immigration professionals who offer those languages.
You can add as many filters as you wish, and simply click on a filter to remove it if you no longer need it.

STEP 2: Add to ‘Compare visa services’
Each visa service has a special ‘compare’ icon next to it.

When you see a service that looks interesting, click on the compare icon to add it to your compare list.
You can do this from the search or filter results page you access in Step 1.
Or if you’ve clicked on a service to see the full service description, the compare icon is also right there under the ‘Book Now’ button.

When you add a service to your compare list, you’ll see a red number ‘1’ appear on the ‘compare button’ in the top menu.

Each time you add another service to your compare list, this red number will increase by one to show you how many services you’re looking to compare.
STEP 3: Click the ‘Compare’ button
When you’ve added all the services you want to compare to your compare list, go ahead and click that ‘Compare button’ in the top menu.
On mobile, you get a handy ‘floating compare button’ that makes sit even easier to start comparing when you’re ready.

After you’ve clicked the compare button you’ll see a ‘Compare items’ box slide in that shows you everything you’ve added to your compare list.

If you no longer need it, you can remove a service from your compare list by clicking the red ‘x’ in the top right-hand corner of the box.
When you’re ready to start comparing visa services, click the ‘COMPARE’ button and you’ll see the services you selected side-by-side.

This makes it super easy to see which service is best for you by letting you compare side-by-side the main offerings.
You can even filter further to only show the differences between visa services, so you know how each service is different.

You can still return to the search page to add more services to your compare list if you wish by clicking the ‘Add more items’ button at the top.
And when you’ve found the visa service that’s perfect for you, click ‘READ MORE’ to review the full service description.
From here you can choose a convenient date and time for an initial consultation with your chosen immigration professional. Just click ‘BOOK NOW to review your basket and proceed to the checkout and secure payment pages.
And that’s it, you’re done!
You’ll shortly receive a confirmation email from Help with my visa! as well as a full tax receipt, and your chosen immigration professional will follow up with an introductory email to confirm your appointment details.
