ANNOUNCING THE LAUNCH OF THE HELP WITH MY VISA! PODCAST

There are so many inspiring, useful and informative travel, mobility and immigration stories out there that can be a goldmine of content for others in similar situations.

We thought it’d be great if we could help share these stories with a wider audience, so we’re delighted to announce we’ve just launched a new Help with my visa! Podcast to do just that.

Every two weeks we’ll interview a different guest who will talk us through their travel, mobility and immigration experiences… because when it comes to these subjects, you can never have too much information!

Applying for 4 UK visas in 4 years

We’ve just published our first episode, where we talk to Indian national Umang Shankar about his extraordinary experience of applying for 4 UK visas within just 4 years.

Umang started his journey in his native India, where he was running motorcycle tour company Make My Ride in the foothills of the Himalayas.

When his wife got the opportunity to move to the UK through her work on a Tier 2 Intra-company Transfer visa, he applied as her dependent to move to London with her.

His journey then took its first turn when he was accepted on an MBA course at a top London business school, and Umang had to apply for a Tier 4 General Student visa.

We follow his progress through those visa applications – the first made in India, the second in the UK – and how he then changed visas again (and is changing visas for a fourth time right now!) after graduating.

Umang talks us through the things he learned making these UK visa applications, and how others in a similar situation can avoid the potential pitfalls he experienced.
