It’s been more than a year in the making but we’re ecstatic to announce that Help with my visa! will open for business on Thursday 21 May 2020!
Help with my visa! is a digital marketplace for buying and selling immigration advice services. We connect people looking to beat the bureaucracy when making a visa application with qualified immigration advisers who can help. You can use Help with my visa! to search for an immigration advice service and book an appointment with your chosen immigration adviser any time of the day or night… and on any device.
Welcome to our first immigration adviser!
We’re extremely pleased to be working with our first immigration adviser, 1st UK Immigration Lawyers-DM Law Practice, who offer a fantastic immigration advice service to people applying for UK visas from overseas and extending or switching to different UK visa routes from inside the UK.
1st UK Immigration Lawyers-DM Law Practice are fully regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) to provide immigration advice services up to Level 3, which covers all types of immigration advice activity including advice and assistance, casework and advocacy and representation.
UK immigration advice services
At launch, Help with my visa! will offer immigration advice services to people looking to:
- Apply for a UK visa from overseas;
- Extend a UK visa from within the UK; and
- Switch to a different UK visa route from inside the UK.
Even though UK visa application centres are still closed, you can get ahead of the crowd by preparing and submitting your online visa application now so that you’re in the best position to complete the process quickly as soon as visa application centres re-open.
This is especially useful if you’re based in the UK and your UK visa or leave to remain is about to expire. UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) automatically extended the leave of everyone in country until 31 May 2020 – and much longer if you’re a frontline healthcare worker – but as this deadline is drawing nearer you can take control of your situation by submitting your UK visa extension or switching application before the end of May so that your leave to remain stays valid. It doesn’t matter when you complete the visa application process, the important date is when your UK visa application form is submitted online.
Immigration advice services for other countries
As we continue to grow we’ll add immigration advice services to help you apply for visas for other countries, including Schengen, the USA, India, China, Russia and others. We’re talking to a number of additional immigration advisers who’ve expressed an interest in working with Help with my visa! and as those discussions progress we’ll bring you immigration advice services covering more and more destinations.
COVID-19-safe virtual appointments
With social distancing still in place throughout the UK and most of the world, we’re offering virtual appointments with our immigration adviser partners.
Through a combination of video conference, telephone, email and instant messaging, you’ll receive a first-class immigration advice service that’s fully compliant with all COVID-19 safety measures.
Future growth initiatives
We’ve also been working on two major growth initiatives that I look forward to telling you about soon.
We’ll soon be announcing our first international expansion, working with a partner on an incredibly exciting project outside the UK. We’re finalising the set up of that project and will make an announcement once social distancing measures make it safe to put the service live.
In a further collaboration, we’re building out a Business Services offering that will provide visa solutions built specifically for businesses who need visas for their people fast, in large quantities and/or a choice in who they work with.
On a personal note, I’d also like to thank you for your immense help and support while we’ve been putting the Help with my visa! offering together. There’ve been some real rockstars who’ve taken a considerable amount of time out of their days to work with us on this business, and from those of you who’ve lent your emotional and physical support right through to those who’ve supported us by joining our mailing lists, we wouldn’t be here without you 🙂
